What does being an #ArtsHero mean to me?
"An #ArtsHero is someone who sees the value, the necessity, the foundational and elemental essentiality of the Arts & Culture sector and is willing to lay everything on the line to save it. It is anyone who spent the last dollar on a new violin string instead of macaroni and cheese. It is anyone who gave up a “traditional living” to go out on the road setting up rock shows. It is a legislator who realizes that the Arts & Culture sector has earned and deserves their respect and support. It is all of us, raging against the dying of the light."
